MY WORK
As film production students, we are assigned various types of projects that we work on in class and at home. Here is the collection of my work from the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you enjoy!

01
Locker Project
The locker project was our introductory ice breaker project. This project let us show our film production teacher what we are interested and what we do outside of school. Our locker consists of our favorite things and shows what is important to us. This locker represents who we are and what we aspire to be!

02
Jumpout Project
The jumpout project was our first project that introduced us to Adobe Photoshop. Students were instructed to edit one person and one animal to give the effect that they were "jumping" out of the image. This project taught us how to use tools on photoshop. We customized the image backgrounds and carefully edited the picture to make it realistic.

03
Word Project
Using a website of unique words, each member in our class selected a fun word and then created an image and video to accompany it. This was our first more skilled photoshop attempt where we had to use different features such as blurring and inserting different images to create our definition image. Our video was a skit that showed someone in real life having the fear of water.

04
Music Video Project
Album Cover Project
The third project that we did this year was to createte
our own music video and album cover using an
existing song and album cover. We edited ourselves into the album cover using Adobe Photoshop. For the music video, we filmed clips of the song and then pieced them together in Adobe Premiere Pro. For both my album cover and music video, I used Natasha Bedingfield's infamous song "Unwritten". I filmed and starred in the video alongside Marley Haviland and Ava Furlong.
05
PSA Project
For our second to last project, we were instructed to make a video warning people of some of the dangers that they may encounter in life. For my video, I selected high phone usage. After using high screen times to introduce the video, I shifted to a skit that showed how happy people could be once they put their phone down and live a little. This was a fun video to film with my friends and I thought it was one of the best I did this year!

06
Movie Scene Project
As our final project of the year, we were tasked with recreating a movie scene and the poster for the movie. For my movie, I selected the classic Lindsey Lohan version of "The Parent Trap". In the video, I starred as Annie while my friend Ava starred as Hallie. We filmed one of the most important scenes of the movie, when the two discovered that they were twins. In the photoshopped movie poster, we posed together similarly to the original poster. This project was a simple yet fun way to end the year!
